Dear Colleagues,

Retired ULM President George T. WalkerI'd like to update you on the condition of former ULM President Dr. George T. Walker, who fell ill during last night's Envision ULM in the Monroe Civic Center. He was taken by ambulance to St. Francis North Hospital, where he will remain over the weekend for observation.

Dr. Walker is in stable condition, and according to his son, George Walker Jr., Dr. Walker is "alert and resting comfortably."

All cards and flowers may be sent to St. Francis North Hospital, located at:

3421 Medical Park Drive
Monroe, LA 71201

I know the entire ULM family wishes Dr. Walker, a pillar of this great institution, all of the best.

James E. Cofer, Sr.
