A message to ULM faculty and staff from ULM President Nick J. Bruno
Dear Colleagues,
The University of Louisiana at Monroe's portion of the state's higher education most recent budget reduction was $576,810. This reduction is the result of the state's fiscal year 2009-10 shortfall. The university has addressed this shortfall by strategically reducing the funded but unfilled administrative positions, administrative travel, and operational services.
At this time, we do not anticipate further budget reductions for fiscal year 2010-11.
