Brian Fassett, art, designed the Delta Agricultural Middle School Applied Life Science project (DAMSAL) logo.

Dr. Janet Haedicke, English, was the co-editor and managing editor of The Tennessee Williams Literary Journal, Vol. V, 2003. ● Dr. Haedicke published “David Mamet: America on the World Stage” in Blackwell Companion to America Drama, 2004. ● Dr. Haedicke published “Orpheus Descending” and “Battle of Angels” for the Tennessee Williams Encyclopedia, 2004. ● Dr. Haedicke published a review of The Magical Muse: Millennial Essays on Tennessee Williams for Comparative Drama, (Winter 2004), and a review of The UnDiscovered Country: The Later Plays of Tennessee Williams” for American Drama (Spring 2004).

Dr. Terry L. Jones, history and government, has signed a contract with McGraw-Hill to write The American Civil War, to be used as a college-level textbook.

Meredith Kennedy, art, had paintings published in "Traditional Home."

Dr. Chris Michaelides, foreign languages, has just completed work on a critical anthology of short fiction by Creoles of color from New Orleans , covering a period from 1837 to 1872. The book, entitled Paroles d'honneur: Écrits de Créoles de couleur néo-orléanais [Words of Honor: Writings by New Orleans Creoles of Color], will be published this June by Centenary College, Les Éditions Tintamarre, a heritage press currently undertaking the largest French-language publication project in U.S. history.

Mona Oliver’s, English, review of Dana R. Ferris's book Response to Student Writing: Implications for Second Language Students appeared in the Journal of College Writing, a peer-reviewed journal.

Dr. Tammy Parker, economics and finance, and A. Williams published “Teaching Method Preference Analysis of Business Students with Applications to Entrepreneurship Courses” in the March 15 issue of the Business Journal for Entrepreneurs. ● Dr. T. Parker and Dr. Michael Parker, economics and finance, published “Asian Stock Market Empirical Comovement: A Sign of Efficiency or Multi-Country Financial Crisis” in Business Quest. ● Dr.T. Parker and Dr. Joseph St. Marie, history and government, published “Labor Mobility of Asian Countries: An Empirical Investigation” in the Journal of Business, Industry and Economics. ● Dr. T. Parker published “A Multi-Level Family Business Choice Model: A Dichotomous Approach” in Coastal Business Journal. ● Dr. T. Parker and Dr. M. Dr. Joe Saunders, geosciences, edited The Louisiana and Arkansas Expeditions of Clarence Bloomfield Moore, with an introduction by R. Weinstein, D. Kelley, and J. Saunders.● Dr. Saunders and T. Allen published Jaketown Revisited in Southeastern Archaeology.

Dr. Jo Anne Welch, curriculum and instruction, Dr. Christopher Thompson and Laura Thompson, music, published “The Interfacing of History and the Fine Arts: An Interdisciplinary Approach to the Teaching of Baroque Style” in The National Social Science Journal, Vol. 20, No. 2, 2003.
