Advising (updated 3/31/08)
Advising for students enrolled in Pre-Radiologic Technology (PRTE)
curriculum is currently in a transition phase. Please bear with the
changing procedures
as we strive to make advising as beneficial to students as possible.
Read the information below to determine who your advisor will be.
- If you are a PRTE student that has only been advised by the Student
Success Center (SSC), continue advising with the SSC. This
applies to all students who enrolled in the Fall 2007 semester or
afterward, and all new transfer students. You may contact the Student Success Center
(SSC) at 342-5550 to make an
advising appointment.
- If you have been advised by the Department of Radiologic Technology
faculty in previous semesters, continue advising according to the
assigned faculty below. Sign-up sheets will be posted on faculty doors.

Also, have your "desired" schedule of classes complete
and bring it to your advising appointment. Do not go unprepared!
Advising - Transfer Students
Attention
Transfer Students and students returning to ULM with transfer credits:Before being seen by an advisor to have transcripts reviewed, you must:
- Submit University application and pay application fee
- Request official transcripts be sent to admissions
- Receive acceptance letter from University
- Keep a copy of transcripts from each institution to bring to the
appointment
Once you have completed steps 1 - 3, call to make an appointment.

read all directions before completing and submitting the application
packet.
Background Check / Drug Testing
In order to meet
contractual obligations of our clinical affiliate partners, and to ensure
the safety of our patients, faculty, and students, the following changes
will be implemented: Beginning in the Fall of 2009, all professional
students will require a background check and drug screening
in order to enter into the professional program.
