Group Exercise Schedule

All group exercise classes include warm-up, appropriate stretch, and cool-down. Heart-rate checks will be regularly cued by the instructor; however, each person is responsible for monitoring their heart rate and exercising at the appropriate intensity. If you have any questions about exercise and determining what is appropriate for you, please ask your instructor, or make an appointment with one of the wellness staff for an exercise prescription.

Reminder: all classes are co-ed and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels!

Class Descriptions

Butts & Guts Let us help get your rear in gear and your abs fab! We will focus on these “trouble spots” with exercises using body weight, dumbbells, exercise balls, gliding discs, etc. (25 Minutes)
Pump & Cardio Cardiovascular workout with high impact moves! Involves strength training with a variety of equipment. (40 Minutes)
Core Strengthen & streamline your midsection. We’ll target your entire core – from your abs all the way around to your back! (15 Minutes)
Hip Hop A mix of cardio dance with exciting dance moves. A whole lot of fun and a whole lot of sweat. (40 Minutes)
Yogalates This class combines Yoga and Pilates methods to build long lean muscles, and develop core abdominal strength. Also focuses on stretching and toning muscles using isometric resistance training. (40 Minutes)
Power Pump Total body strengthening and toning utilizing bar bells, dumbbells, & your own body weight. You’ll leave feeling strong and powerful! (50 Minutes)
Yoga Get tone and flexible. Using basic yoga postures, this class offers poses for any level. Relaxing and challenging all in one class. (50 Minutes)
Zumba Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow combos in an interval format alternating harder and easier dance moves will make you love to do cardio! (60 Minutes)

Group Exercise Policies

1. A towel is required to attend a class. Bring a towel or rent one from the service center.
2. Wipe all equipment after use and return it to its proper storage area.
3. Must be a consistent 5 participants per class in order to retain the class on the schedule.
4. Please inform instructor of any medical conditions or limitations BEFORE class begins.
5. Must have 2 or more participants to hold a class.
6. Wait outside group exercise room until previous class is finished.
