Award contracts and information for the 2009-2010 year will be mailed to qualifying students in late January 2009.

The priority deadline date for scholarships is December 1, 2008. Students who apply by the deadline date and meet the following criteria will be evaluated.

  • ACT composite score of 22 or higher (scores must be from December 2008 test date or prior)
  • Cumulative high school gpa of 3.0 (6th semester transcript)

Additional awards will be made should funds be available.

Academic Recognition
Level 1  ACT 22-25/GPA 3.5-4.0  $2000/$1500
Level 2  ACT 22-25/GPA 3.0-3.49  $1500/$1000

Minimum Requirements: 22 ACT and 3.0 HSGPA on a 4.0 scale

Award Values listed above are annual figures. The higher dollar value is for students choosing to live on campus. The lower dollar value is for students choosing to live off campus.

Eligibility for these scholarships is based upon your application for admission.

High School transcripts and ACT scores are required.

Please Note: Louisiana residents do not need to submit high school transcripts; out of state students and Louisiana residents with a high school graduation date prior to May of 2003 should submit an official copy of their high school transcript. ACT scores must be received directly from ACT to be considered official.
