B cubed: Better Business Bureau
- This project is currently in progress and working with the Better Business Bureau for Northeast Louisiana.
- BBB President, Amy Lawson, has concerns that the Better Business Bureau is being taken for granted. She feels that it is being used as a complaint center rather than being used for their many other services, such as informing businesses about customers’ problems and alerting individuals and companies to scams that affect them.
- The social science research team will go to business members and non-members of the BBB to receive their outlook on the situation through a survey.
- This same method of getting information will be applied when obtaining data from the following comparison cities: Meridian, Mississippi; Lake Charles, Louisiana; and Lafayette, Louisiana.
- We will take the data from businesses in each city and compare it with the thoughts of the Better Business Bureau in Monroe, Louisiana.
