- Research opportunity for students in all the Social Sciences
- Updating a Report done by the Criminal Justice Department in 2004 for Indigent Defense Board
- Research includes visiting 10 parish Clerk of Court Offices in the Northeast Louisiana area , in addition to the interviewing the Indigent Defense Attorneys in these Districts for the purpose of data collection and background information
- The opportunity to serve the IDB in obtaining additional funds and possibly obtaining more attorneys to help with case loads
- Future results of the study may open the door for Continuing Education Classes for attorneys associated with Indigent Defense
