Thank you for your interest in Panhellenic Recruitment and Greek Life at ULM!
Panhellenic Recruitment is a mutual selection process where a potential new member
has the opportunity to meet with chapter members and ask a variety of questions. Formal
Recruitment for 2014-2015 dates will be available soon!
Recruitment is a fun-filled weekend of socials, during which sororities share their sisterhood with potential members. This weekend allows you to get a glimpse into the personalities and values of each of the chapters. Just as sororities are looking for the right women to join their chapters, you should be looking for a chapter that fits you. Each sorority has something unique to offer.
During the first day of Recruitment, you will visit all NPC chapters so you can get a glimpse of sorority life in general and learn about each chapters Philanthropy. After you have met women from all 3 chapters, the mutual selection process begins! Just as you are making important decisions about where you fit, the chapter women are making important decisions too about the future members of their sorority.
On Saturday, you might visit up to 3 chapters and ask questions to provide insight into each of the chapters. Sunday you might visit up to 2 chapters to learn about each sorority’s sisterhood and what it means to their chapter. Sunday is preference day. This day is sentimental and will be your final visit with chapters before you decide which one is the right match for you. Monday is Bid Day and is when chapters offer invitations to join their sisterhood.
As recruitment draws closer more details will be made available. If you have any questions, please contact the Greek Life Advisor.
