I am involved in Pi Kappa Alpha, Beta Sigma Biology Club, Officers Club, Maroon Platoon, Housing Appeals Committee, Presidential Lyceum Series Committee, Student Sexual Harassment Committee, Student, Organization Judicial Committee, Parking and Traffic Appeals Committee, ULM Conduct Standards Committee, Quality Enhancement Plan Committee and Christmas at ULM Committee. I am the Mortar Board president, Phi Kappa Phi Outstanding Senior Initiate, Greek Week director, CAB vice president, Alpha Lambda Delta junior advisor, SGA Senior Class president, Research and Judical Affairs Committee Head and Alpha Espsilon Delta vice president. I was voted Most Involved Student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and one of the Outstanding Students in the Biology Department. I won Pi Kappa Alpha's Mr. Eta Omicron Award 2008, and I was named to the Dean's List and the President's List for Spring 2008.

I have one sibling, and her name is Sydney Norwood. She is 11 months older than me.

I hope to attend medical school and one day become an orthopedic surgeon. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I've always been interested in medicine.

My favorite spot at ULM is the Grove, behind the football stadium. This is where all the PIKES tailgate before home football games.

My favorite professor is Dr. Russ Minton. He has been a professor of mine for four of my Biology classes at ULM, and I have conducted research under him for the last two years. I have learned too much from him to list or even start to list. He advises me with my schedule, and he keeps me on track. It seems as if he is truly concerned with every student's educational growth at ULM.

I will always remember the PIKE and Phi Mu Camo Social in 2005. This is where my girlfriend, Ashley Wood, and I met. We have been together ever since, and she has been the best thing I could ever ask for.

Andrew's ULM graphicI have made many life long friendships, and being at ULM has made me mature more than anything else in my life. Being a senior, I feel like I am ready to be out in the real world. I have learned so much while being at ULM. You have to stay involved, but you have to make schoolwork a top priority. I managed to be very involved and maintain a 3.95 GPA. ULM has given me the ability to manage my time. Time management is the reason I have been able to stay so involved while maintaining my high academic standards.

Great Education, Good Times, Bright Future
