intramurals, being involved
Daniel Vanderberg is a senior marketing major from Monroe, Louisiana.
I am involved in the Student Body Government Association, serving as a senator. I work at River Outfitters, and I'm the vice president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. I love playing intramurals and watching ULM athletics.
I have three half brothers, and I am the youngest.
I plan to start a medical supplies company or become a pharmaceutical sales rep.
One of my favorite spots on campus is the activity center, which is followed closely by the SUB because I love food.
Two of my favorite professors are Dr. John Sutherlin and Dr. H.P. Jones. Both of them are really interesting, and I never have to worry about being bored in class because they keep it fun.
My favorite memory by far is being involved in Kappa Sigma Fraternity. I love playing intramurals because we win a lot. Winning is fun, and it keeps me in shape. Also, the leadership roles in a fraternity are one-of-a-kind. When I joined Kappa Sigma Fraternity, it lead me to SGA. Taking part in the university has really helped me make the best grades every semester. ULM has been home to me my entire life, and attending the university makes me appreciate it on a whole different level.
I chose ULM because my mother works here, and I could get a good education without having to leave home.
