Section A: "ULManac"

During ULM's 75 th anniversary celebrations in 2006, University Planning & Analysis (UPA) recognized the need for an almanac-style ready-reference of university facts and figures concerning our history, culture, and organization. We, with the help of various offices across our campus, have developed the ULManac as a response to this need.
Section A: 2007-2008 ULManac is a two-part document which includes a specific section for current facts and figures, as well as an historical section which provides, in many cases, data extending to ULM's beginning. UPA is continually working with our colleagues to provide you with complete and accurate information about our university's rich history.
As we produce each yearly edition, we invite your comments and suggestions for future editions of the ULManac , as well as the University FactBook. It is our intent to produce a timely and comprehensive document reflecting that which defines ULM as a unique and diverse institution of higher learning. Please note that UPA uses, where possible, the 14 th Class Day or other determined census date to be consistent with state and federal reporting requirements.
We would like to sincerely thank the various campus departments who have worked with us to develop the ULManac. If you have further questions about the information included in this edition, we suggest that you contact the source office as noted throughout the document.
