Section D: New Students

Updated: 8/05/2008

One of the functions of University Planning & Analysis (UPA) is to provide a variety data resources to support University of Louisiana Monroe's administration in strategic planning and policy-making processes. We have developed the University FactBook in order to fulfill this portion of our mission.

Section D: New Students of the FactBook is a three-part document which evaluates the different categories of new students at ULM: Beginning Freshmen, Transfers, and New Graduate Students. In addition to the University-level evaluation, each section will include information for Colleges and Departments.

As we produce each yearly edition, we invite your comments and suggestions for future editions of the FactBook , including the ULManac . It is our intent to produce a timely and comprehensive document reflecting that which defines ULM as a unique and diverse institution of higher learning. Please note that UPA uses, where possible, the 14 th Class Day or other determined census date to be consistent with state and federal reporting requirements.

We would like to sincerely thank the various campus departments who have worked with us to develop the FactBook . It is assumed that data provided by these offices are recent and accurate. If you have further questions about the information included in this edition, we suggest that you contact the source office as noted throughout the document.

Your continued interest and support are greatly appreciated.
