Curriculum Review Goal Statements
a. Establish a Task Force to review the ULM Core Curriculum.
b. Establish a Task Force to develop university guidelines for the timing of a student’s completion of the core curriculum.
c. Coordinate a curriculum review of every academic program.
- Curriculum Revision Document will be developed by UCC and delivered to all academic programs.
- Revised curricula must be implemented for Fall 2010.
- Curriculum review parameters to be considered during review (UCC may expand)
- Curriculum must reflect current and common practice with respect to content, the number of required major course hours.
- The curriculum design should not impede internal transfer between degrees programs.
- A prerequisite trail should be established for the 300 and 400 level courses.
