Research Interests
Interest include the determination of the three-dimensional structure of proteins and nucleic acids through multi-dimensional NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) and computer simulations. Of particular interest is the structure of the transmembrane ion channel gramicidin and analogues of gramicidin.

Recent Research Funding
Current funding includes an LEQSF (BORSF) Research Competitiveness Grant for $66,000 entitled "Conformational Analysis of Biological Macromolecules". The grant has provided monies for the purchase of an O2 Silicon Graphics computer and molecular modeling software for the determination of macromolecular structures from multi-dimensional NMR data.
