Regular admission means that
you have completed your application, including GRE scores and final
transcripts, and have been accepted to the MA program without
qualification.
Provisional admission means
that you have not yet completed your application. Perhaps you are
still in school, so your final transcripts are pending. Perhaps
you have not yet submitted GRE scores. Or your admission may be
provisional if you have course deficiencies to make up.
Conditional admission means
that you have completed your application, including GRE scores and
final transcripts, and we want you in the program. However,
because you have slightly lower GRE scores or GPA than we require
for regular admission, you must prove yourself by
making at least 3.0 GPA in your first semester of the MA program.
