Financial Emergency Fund

A fund has been established to assist students adversely impacted by process changes and campus closures related to the unprecedented coronavirus (COVID-19). Distributions of the fund will go to students who need resources for remote learning, food, housing, transportation, basic needs, or who are facing other unforeseen personal difficulties. Applying for a Financial Emergency Fund Award

The University of Louisiana Monroe has established the Financial Emergency Fund to assist students experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In order to be considered for a Financial Emergency Fund award, students must submit an application no later than April 6th. Review of applications will begin on March 30th and will continue until April 6th. 

An application consists of:

(a) a statement describing the COVID-related hardship with specific costs and details

(b) supporting information/documentation to verify that the hardship occurred
