Stanley Red Bird

Stanley Red Bird, a Sicangu Lakota shaman, lives and works for the preservation and recovery of Native American culture and environment. Mr. Red Bird is one of the founders of the Sinte Gleska University in Mission, S.D. and is a bi-lingual cultural research consultant for Native's, African's, Asian's, Latino's, and Allies (NAALA), an organization under the Association for Experiential Education (AEE). Mr. Red Bird develops experiential and adventure based educational programs for the Sicangu Homeland. He is an expert in native medicines and Lakota Star Knowledge.

Mr. Red Bird lives and works on Rosebud Reservation, S.D.
