The Education Subject Guide is intended to provide a guide to the education resources
available through the University of Louisiana at Monroe Library and online.
Databases
Two of the most common education databases available from the home page drop-down
menu are EbscoHost and JSTOR. Many of these titles will also appear in our online catalog.
- EBSCOhost contains many full-text databases as well as indexes and abstracts for others
- EBSCO Discovery, an enhanced version of EBSCOhost searching many databases at once

- ERIC®, Education Resource Information Center
- Mental Measurements Yearbook, a comprehensive guide to testing instruments
- Professional Development Collection, full-text education journals
- Teacher Reference Center, abstracts for popular teacher and administrator journals and magazines
- EBSCO eBooks (eBook Collection), electronic books
- Primary Search, for use with elementary school students
- MAS Complete, for use with high school students
- JSTOR contains over 130 full-text education titles
- Gale Virtual Reference Library, also contains education books and resources
