  • Learning Express Library- Sample tests for math, readingvocabulary skills; career licensing, certification and aptitude, SAT, TOEFL, and citizenship tests. Includes tests in Spanish. ULM students create their own free accounts. Log-in from off campus with your CWID for the login name and MMYY for the password when prompted. Once you access Learning Express Library you will register and create your own account.

  • Oxford English Dictionary- Useful for definitions of words and provides a sound clip of pronunciations.

  • Gale Virtual Reference Library- Collection of full-text encyclopedias, handbooks, and other sources for multidisciplinary research.

  • Credo Reference- A collection of over 500 reference books on a variety of topics.

ESL Cafe- The Internet's Meeting place for ESL + EFL teachers + students from around the world.

Voice of America- Learning English is VOA’s multimedia source of news and information for millions of English learners worldwide.

BBC Learning English- In addition to news, this resource has intermediate and advanced lessons that would benefit college students.

Merriam-Webster Online- Includes audio pronunciation guide, thesaurus, word games, and a Learner's Dictionary for ESL students.
