Graduation Requirements

Completion of all courses required and a minimum of 30 credit hours taken though ULM will deem a student eligible for graduation. All official transcripts from any other college or university than ULM for required pre-requisite courses must be submitted to the ULM registrar’s office and the MLS Bridge Coordinator no later than one semester before the expected graduation.

It is the responsibility of the student to notify the MLS Bridge Coordinator with the expectation of graduation in accordance with the commencement application due date published in the ULM Schedule of Classes (usually two semesters prior to graduation). 

The Application for Undergraduate & Professional Degree may be downloaded from the ULM Office of the Registrar’s Web site at http://registrar.ulm.edu

The application must be returned to the MLS Bridge Coordinator no later than two weeks prior to the posted due date for the application to be submitted to the academic dean’s office. 

This deadline is posted on the Office of the Registrar’s Web site. Any student not participating in the commencement ceremony must submit a request in writing to and receive approval  from the College of Health Sciences’ Dean. Failure to complete these steps may result in postponement of graduation to the following semester.

The commencement ceremony occurs following the fall semester in December and following the spring semester in May.
