Louisiana Creole art to be discussed at ULM

A discussion on "Louisiana's Creoles of Color in the Visual Arts" will be presented in the Library of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. ULM Professor Fred Adams will present the talk. It will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001 at 6:30 p.m., in the Special Collections of the ULM Library.

Adams will be discussing primarily two Creole artists of color, one from the nineteenth century, Jules Lion, and one from the twentieth century, Clementine Hunter.
