Financial aid awareness goes to area high schools

Representatives from Financial Aid at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will be speaking to students at area high schools in Northern Louisiana about the federal student application process. Issues to be addressed in the program are Tuition Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS), the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application and process, and the deadlines for the students to submit applications. A representative from Enrollment Services will also be on hand to answer questions regarding admissions.

Schools on the schedule include: Winnfield Senior High School, Wednesday, Feb.13, at 10:40 a.m.; Lake Providence Senior High School, Thursday, Feb. 14, at 10:00 a.m.; Davidson High School, Friday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m.; Carroll High School, Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 9:45 a.m.; and Neville High School at 6:00 p.m. (the same day). The financial aid awareness program continues through March.
