ULM to Host 2003 Pan-Hellenic Council Greekshow

The University of Louisiana at Monroe will host the annual Pan-Hellenic Council Greekshow this Friday at Fant-Ewing Coliseum at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the conclusion of the University's Spring Fever activities.

The greekshow will consist of performances by ULM sororities and fraternities. The two sororities and four fraternities set to perform are Delta Sigma Theta and Zeta Phi Beta sororities; and Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Iota Phi Theta, and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternities.

A greekshow is a competition also known as a "stepshow". It is a long-standing tradition in African American fraternities and sororities. Each organization is nationally known for its own unique step styles, colors, etc. The competition will be judged on each organization's performance, creativity and originality.

Tickets will be sold in the Student Union Building Quad area during the Spring Fever activities. Advance ticket cost is $5.00 and general admission cost is $10.00. All ULM students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community are invited to attend.
