Coffee House Opens with Free Samples in Wigwam

A new feature has been added to tempt the taste buds of those at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. The on-campus dining facility, the WIGWAM, now houses a Java City coffee and smoothie station (the smoothies to be available soon). Java City's hand roasted specialty coffees can be found across the states and throughout the world in cafés, corporate offices, college campuses and supermarkets. Eddie Rushing, Assistant Director of Food Services at ULM, says, "This is a great addition to food services for students on this campus. We have a relaxing atmosphere in place complete with plush new sofas, ottomans, and wireless Internet service (which will be be operational in the near future). We hope everyone will come in and enjoy this new service." ULM's Java City will be giving out free samples of its flavored coffees, lattes and more this Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Java City will be open for business beginning Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
