ULM Spirit Groups Looking for New Members

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Spirit Groups are looking for new members for the 2005-06 school year.

During the next month, Jennifer Hyde, Coordinator of ULM Spirit Groups, and her staff will be selecting representatives for the Cheerleading squads and Indian Scouts spirit group.

The 2005-06 ULM Cheerleading program will consist of two squads, Coed and All-Girl. The tryout date is Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 9 a.m. in Brown Gymnasium. A mandatory clinic will be held on Friday, April 22 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.; with optional clinics on April 20 and 21 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Applications are due to the Office of Spirit Groups by Saturday, April 16, 2005.

The 2005-06 Indian Scouts will serve as the official university host
group. Indians Scouts work a variety of home athletic events; in addition to attending all pep rallies and other spirit functions on campus. Interviews will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2005 in the Student Union Building. Applications are due to the Office of Spirit Groups by Monday, April 25, 2005.
