Art faculty member to exhibit at D’Art Center in Virginia

ULM Division of Art faculty member Cliff Tresner was recently invited to exhibit Digital Prints in "Pitch, Yaw, & Roll," an invitational exhibition of contemporary sculpture and works on paper, at the D'Art Center in Norfolk, Va. March 2 - April 14.

Tresner will display two hand colored digital prints titled "Plugged" 16"x20," and "Bird with Words", 16"x20." Both works are a product of his research into computer-generated images.

The images originated as bits and pieces of sketchbook drawings. Tresner then transferred the images to digital format and continued integrating various images into one work. The final digital image was printed on fine art papers and hand-colored with watercolor, pencil, marker, and gouache.

For more information about the exhibition, contact Cliff Tresner at 318-342-1385.
