ULM Warbonnets announces 2007-2008 members

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Warbonnets has announced the new 2007-2008 members.
 
Chosen as officers for the Warbonnets are: Verlencia Jordan and Danielle Smith, both from Monroe; Kelsea McCrary, Bastrop; Ashley McGee, Collinston; and Bridget Whitehead, Shreveport. Colette Boutwell is the Warbonnets’ coach.
 
New members are: Tiffany Berry, Holly Cumbee, Nicole Freeman, Quin Jenkins and Erica Sledge, all from Monroe; Rhiannon Robinson, Bastrop; Amy Cady, Eros; Ariel Del Rio and Jodicia Neal, both from Rayville; Amanda Davis and Nicola Piazza, both from Haughton; Toni Kimmell and Unique Williams, both from Shreveport; Desiree Moton, Lafayette; Christina Porter, Avondale; Warlana Woods, Jennings; Allison Pickett, Crossett, Ark.; Whitney Roberts, Natchez, Miss.; and Sherice Glasper, Vicksburg, Miss.
 
The Warbonnets consists of 30 – 40 members who must maintain an established level of tradition. They perform precision high kick halftime routines with the band during football season, and jazz, hip hop and pom-pom routines at pep rallies and men’s and women’s home basketball games.

The Warbonnets performs at the Miss ULM Pageant and competes at the Universal Dance Association College National Championship in Orlando, Fla. The team also makes numerous appearances at campus and community events.
