ULM PREP Staff to compete at SROW March 7 – 9

The 2008 ULM PREP Staff will compete in the song and dance competition at the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop March 7 – 9 at Columbus State University, vying for victory against university orientation staffs from across the South.

SROW is an annual conference for the PREP Staff and is an opportunity for them to learn more about the orientation process by networking with orientation leaders from other universities.

To prepare for their performance, the group organized the annual Pre-SROW Show, Tuesday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the multipurpose gym at the Activity Center.

About the PREP Staff:

PREP Staff is an elite group of student leaders who have excelled in their leadership, academic achievement and enthusiasm for ULM. Students on the PREP Staff must go through an application and interview process prior to their selection. Those chosen for PREP Staff are required to take an upper level counseling class prior to assuming their duties. PREP Staff members receive both a cash payment and room and board for the summer term.
