ULM students elect Campus Activities Board officers, Mardi Gras Court

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Office of Student Life and Leadership announces that the following officers were recently elected to the Campus Activities Board:

• CAB President: Ben Young of Rayville
• CAB Vice President: Dawson Beene of Haynesville
• CAB Public Relations: Kaylie Stracener of Calhoun
• CAB Secretary: Johntavious Hampton of Homer
• CAB Treasurer: Ahmaad Solmone of Hammond

CAB provides a host of activities and events for ULM students that foster social, recreational and leadership development. It sponsors the biggest events on campus like concerts, Spring Fever, Week of Welcome, Homecoming, and the Miss ULM Pageant in addition to weekly activities such as speakers, bands, films, games, tailgating parties, and more.

In addition, the following students were elected to represent the Mardi Gras Court at the upcoming Mardi Gras Ball:

• Mardi Gras King: Heath Hines of Crossett, Ark.
• Queen: Eboni Parker: Marthaville
• Pharmacy Beau: Kyle Gray of Bossier City
• Pharmacy Bell: Mandi Simmons of Keithville
• Arts and Science Beau: Drew Register of West Monroe
• Arts and Science Bell: Ciera Paul of New Orleans
• Education Beau: Tyler Brown of Denham Springs
• Education Bell: Rachel Hornsby of Bossier City
• Heath Science Beau: Nicholas Alford of Hammond
• Health Science Bell: Sidney Bruscato of Monroe
• Business Beau: Joel Barfield of West Monroe
• Business Bell: Abigail Desoto of Pleasant Hill
