ULM’s Matthews published again in Louisiana Libraries

University of Louisiana at Monroe Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian Melinda F. Matthews wrote an article entitled “An Overview of the Louisiana Library Association Academic Section 2001-2012” and a book review of “Early History of Monroe,”by Sylvester Beard.

Both the article and book review are published in Louisiana Libraries vol. 75 no.1, Summer 2012, pages 7-10 and 47 respectively.

Matthews earned her master's degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in May 1990.

She earned a bachelor's degree in English in December 1988 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.

She has worked at the ULM Library since July 1990, where she started as Humanities Reference Librarian.

She became ULM Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian in January 1992.
