Kinesiology

Our bodies are intricately designed. The way we steward them — with exercise, nutrition and medical care — can have profound effects on our physical, emotional and spiritual health. In ULM’s Kinesiology Program, you will receive specialized training in human movement and athletic performance, preparing you to be a competent and caring professional in such fields as exercise science, cardiac rehab, physical therapy, athletic training, and chiropractic care.

Our Kinesiology Program also prepares students for exciting careers in the sport, fitness, and health industries, which could include conducting scientific testing in an exercise physiology lab, preparing to enter physical therapy or athletic training graduate programs, working on the business side of sport-related organizations, or entering the fitness and recreation industry at all levels.
