College - Provisional Entry Program
The College – Provisional Entry Program (C-PEP), is designed for a select population
of academically superior college students with an interest in pursuing pharmacy as
a career.
Students who meet the C-PEP eligibility requirements can apply after the completion
of their freshman year and still avoid the competitive selection process for admission
into our professional pharmacy program. Participants are assured acceptance as long
as the minimum C-PEP eligibility is met and maintained throughout the remainder of
their undergraduate course studies.

Advantages
- The primary advantage of the Provisional Entry Program (PEP) is that students avoid
the competitive selection process for admissions into the professional pharmacy program,
which traditionally occurs following completion of two or three academic years of
required pre-professional classes, if requirements are met.
- C–PEP provides students with opportunities to engage in both professional and personal
relationships with College of Pharmacy faculty and upperclassmen immediately upon
being accepted to the program instead of waiting to complete the traditional three-year
pre-professional program.
- Students in the C-PEP may participate in professional student organizations and leadership
development programs earlier in their collegiate careers.
- C-PEP students will be invited to COP events.
