The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members of its community. This commitment extends to all individuals who participate in or seek to participate in ULM’s programs and activities. In alignment with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other applicable laws, ULM strictly prohibits sexual misconduct and power-based violence.

We ensure that any such conduct is addressed effectively, and those found responsible are held accountable, in accordance with the law and principles of due process.

Providing Support and Assistance: ULM offers robust support and resources to individuals affected by sexual misconduct and power-based violence. We are dedicated to providing the necessary assistance to complainants and ensuring they are informed of their rights and options.

Complying with Legal Reporting Requirements: ULM adheres to all legal obligations for reporting instances of sexual misconduct and power-based violence, ensuring transparency and accountability in our response efforts.

Reporting

Reporting Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Discrimination, or Power-Based Violence The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) encourages anyone who has experienced or witnessed sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, power-based violence, or retaliation to come forward. ULM takes these matters seriously and provides multiple ways to report concerns, ensuring that all reports are addressed promptly and appropriately.

How to Report: Reports of sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, power-based violence, or retaliation, as well as inquiries about Title IX compliance, should be directed to the Title IX Coordinator. Reports can be submitted by complainants, third parties, or bystanders, and can be made in the following ways:

In Person: Visit the Title IX Coordinator's office.

In Writing: Submit a written report to the Title IX Coordinator.

Anonymously: Reports can be made anonymously using the online reporting form.

Online Reporting: Reports of sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking (on the basis of sex), power-based violence, and retaliation can be submitted at any time, 24 hours a day, using our secure and confidential [maxient.com]Sex Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct/Power-Based Violence Report Form. Reports can be made anonymously if preferred.

ULM is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment. All reports are taken seriously and will be handled with the utmost respect for privacy and confidentiality, consistent with applicable laws and university policies.
