ULM Healthcare Career Camp

July 14-16, 2015

Rising High School Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend ULM's Healthcare Career Camp! At this 3-day camp, you will work closely with students and faculty in various Allied Health fields such as Kinesiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiologic Technology and more! Each day will include fun activities as you visit with each Allied Health department and learn skills needed in each field. ULM's Healthcare Career Camp is sponsored in part through partnership with the Ouachita Parish Police Jury.

Who can come to the Healthcare Career Camp?

Healthcare Career Camp is open to high school juniors and seniors in Ouachita Parish thanks to a grant from the Ouachita Parish Police Jury.

How much does the Healthcare Career Camp cost?

The Healthcare Career Camp is $50 per student.

How do I register for the Healthcare Career Camp?

What do I wear to the Healthcare Career Camp?

The Healthcare Career Camp is a hands-on learning experience in ULM classrooms and laboratories. You will interact with various Allied Health fields, so be sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.

Are meals included?

Daily breakfast and lunch are included in the Healthcare Career Camp.

Can I bring a guest?

Students may bring up to two guests to attend an awards ceremony on the last day of camp.
