Browse on the Bayou is a special campus preview day designed with high school juniors, seniors, and transfer students in mind.

At Browse on the Bayou, you will explore ULM's beautiful campus, discover academic opportunities, and meet students and professors in the Warhawk family. Whether you are a high school student or a transfer from another college, you are bound to learn something new about student life, financial aid, and more.

Parents are encouraged to attend the event with their student. Browse on the Bayou is free to all students and parents who attend.

Check-In

Warhawk Circle | 9 - 9:30 a.m.

Take flight to your future at Warhawk Circle to check in for Browse on the Bayou. Look for the large, bronze Warhawk sculpture. Click here for parking information.

Welcome Address

Scott Plaza Fountain | 9:30 - 10 a.m.

You will be greeted by the Warhawk family at Scott Plaza Fountain, right next to Warhawk Circle.

Academic Breakout Session

10 - 10:30 a.m.

Chat with students and professors in the Warhawk family and discover academic programs in our Colleges:

Student Life

As a member of the Warhawk family, you have the opportunity to join more than 100 student organizations! You can play on an intramural sports team, run for office in the Student Government Association, join the Greek Life community, and so much more.

Home is where the Hawk is! Rising from the banks of the beautiful Bayou DeSiard, University of Louisiana Monroe is a sight to behold. Envision yourself at home in one of our residential halls. Picture yourself studying for your future career in our modern, 7-story library. See where you will form lifelong friendships at Bayou Park, Malone Stadium, and more. 

Lunch

Bayou Park | 12:30 - 1 p.m.

Your tour will wrap up at Bayou Park, where you will enjoy a complimentary lunch near the tranquil waters of the bayou.

This will conclude Browse on the Bayou events, but you are welcome to sit back and stay awhile. The ULM Warhawks will face the Liberty Flames at 6 p.m. at Malone Stadium. Tailgate in The Grove and cheer on the Warhawks under the lights. Tickets to the football game are available for purchase here.
