5 Easy Steps to ULM Admissions for the New Online Student!
1. Apply for ULM Admission:
- IF YOU ARE . . . a transfer student, re-admitted and undergraduate student, or a international student, you can complete an application online at www.ulm.edu/enrollment/admissions.html.
IF YOU ARE . . . a college graduate and wish to apply for an online Masters degree, you may apply at www.ulm.edu/gradschool/admis.html
- Read all steps on the Recruitment and Admissions Web site to apply.
If you need assistance contact us at 1-800-372-5127 or check out the Recruitment and Admissions Web site.
- There is a $20 application fee that can be paid electronically.
- Processing of this application could take up to two weeks.
2. File “Proof of Immunization” form with Admissions Office.
- This form is available in a downloadable PDF file that must be printed out.
- Online students can request an exemption for personal reasons: "will not be attending classes on campus" or if you will be attending on and off campus you request an exemption for personal reasons: "records currently unavailable".
- Once completed the form can be faxed to the Student Health Services Office (318) 342-5239). You can contact ULM's Health Services at (318) 342-5238 for assistance or Recruitment and Admissions at 1-800-372-5127.
3. Send transcripts (high school or other college) or GED to the university.
- Student must request official transcripts from other institutions attended.

4. Apply for financial aid

Determine how to apply for financial aid at the Financial Aid Web site

5. Undergraduates - apply to GOLD (Gateway to OnLine Degrees)
- Students have to be admitted to ULM (step 1 above)
- Have 3 years full-time work experience before they can be admitted to GOLD.
- Email a current resume to onlinedegrees@ulm.edu
- Download the employer verification form. Have your employer(s) complete the form and return to the address listed or fax to (318) 342-1049.
- If you do not meet the 3 year work experience but feel you still qualify, you may submit an appeal.
A committee will meet to review the applicants and you should hear within two weeks.
