For the flying events, pilots will compete in precision landing events, cross country flight, and message drop. The emphasis is on safety in all events. Ground events include airplane recognition, pre-flight inspection, simulator flight, and cross country planning. The top four teams will compete in the national competition in May in Columbus, Ohio.
