Feb. 15, 2003 The University of Louisiana at Monroe will be the site for a press conference with Congressman David Vitter. It is set for Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Sugar Hall, room 101. After the press conference, Vitter is scheduled to tour the ULM Health Sciences building and the Intermodal Transit Facility Site. All media is invited. U.S. Representative David Vitter of New Orleans will discuss the importance of funding for ULM's Health Sciences programs as well as other issues. Vitter is the only Louisiana member of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee. The Appropriations Committee determines how the annual federal budget is spent. Vitter's trip to ULM comes soon after the return of several
ULM representatives, including President James Cofer, to Washington
