The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment is set for August 11-15. Applications are available in the Student Life Department, Student Union Building, (SUB) 213, or call 318-342-5230.

"The Week That Lasts A Lifetime," is the theme of the event. Deadline to apply is Friday, July 26, 2002 (after which the registration fee increases). The registration fee is $40.00 and includes recruitment T-shirt, correspondence fees, the recruitment fee and the cost of two meals.

All women who are beginning freshman, transfer students or upperclassmen who will be regularly enrolled, full-time (at least 12 hours) students are eligible to participate in Formal Recruitment. The ULM sororities primarily require at least a 2.3 high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better for incoming freshmen and at least a 2.20 or better GPA for upperclassmen or transfer students having earned 12 or more credit hours.
