ULM INSTITUE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT PRESENTS INVESTIGATION SEMINAR
The Institute of Law Enforcement at the University of Louisiana at Monroe will conduct a seminar on "Basic Scientific Crime Scene Investigation" May 6-8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The course will present valuable information to law enforcement officers interested in conducting a qualified, scientific crime scene investigation. The seminar is divided into three parts: crime scene investigation which includes identification of evidence upon the body, identifying, development and preservation of evidence; latent fingerprints which covers the detection, recovery and matching of fingerprints; and preparation for courtroom presentations which covers evidence recording and labeling.
