The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Gerontology Education and the Louisiana Nursing Home Association will sponsor the Nursing Home Olympics Thursday (April 27) at Fant-Ewing Coliseum on the ULM campus.

Over 150 nursing home residents from 27 nursing homes in northeast Louisiana will be participating in events such as the softball throw, wheelchair races, bean bag, horseshoes, Socrates trivia and frisbee throw.
