Three senior risk management and insurance majors at the University of Louisiana at Monroe have landed impressive internships in Dallas this summer.

Ashley Murphy of Crossett, Ark., will work at U.S. Risk, a surplus lines insurer. Brian Varner of Farmerville will work at PWIB, also a surplus lines insurer.

Claire Hopkins of West Monroe will work at EWI, a broker that provides reinsurance services in the property, casualty and life accident and health areas.
