International Food Fair to offer culinary delights from around the globe April 10; public invited

The ULM International Student Association will present an International Food Fair Thursday, April 10 from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Ballroom D, allowing guests to experience food from around the world for mere change.

Attendees may purchase 50-cent tickets to sample offerings from a variety of countries while meeting the world travelers, mostly ULM students who came to this country.

Mara Loeb, ULM associate professor of communication and director of International Student Programs and Services, advised people to arrive early. "This is such a popular event that we need to add that it will continue 'while the food lasts.' "

The ULM International Education Council is sponsoring the International Beverages table, so guests may try "a wide array of refreshing and unusual drinks."

The Baptist Campus Ministries will also sell water to fund the construction of a new water well in a Kenyan village.

This event is open to the public. For more information, contact: (318) 342-5225.
