ULM Department of Nursing hosts Student Nurses Association Day

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Department of Nursing hosted a Student Nurses Association Day April 8 in Brown Auditorium.

The event featured guest speaker, Dr. John Cooksey, an ophthalmologist and former U.S. Representative, who was elected to Congress in 1996 and represented Louisiana's Fifth District for three terms.

Second-level nursing student and champion jump roper, Chad Rankin, who recently taped a segment on the Ellen DeGeneres show in Los Angeles, as well as other nursing students, performed during an afternoon talent show.
