ULM’s LSBDC to offer free workshop on
government contracts April 20

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is offering a free workshop on government contracts from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 20.

Every year the federal government spends in access of $300 billion in goods and services, according to the LSBDC. This workshop will help business owners increase sales by learning how to do business with the federal government.

Participants attending this workshop will learn how to:

  • Register with Dun and Bradstreet for a contractor DUNS number
  • Register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
  • Understand how the Federal Government Buys
  • Interface with the SBA to obtain small business certifications
  • Successfully navigate websites containing contracting opportunities

The LSBDC is located at the ULM Administration Building, Room 2-108.
