Spring Fever gets extreme April 23-28
The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Office of Student Life and Leadership presents another great year of spring events to help bring the semester to a close with a bang April 23-28.
"Too Extreme for a Theme" will include a week full of fun, food, and events for the ULM community.
On Monday, April 23, the too extreme activities include a wrecking ball, Monkey Motion, boot camp, and more!
On Monday night the Spring Fever movie will be "The Woman in Black," which stars Daniel Radcliffe of "Harry Potter" fame, in his first non-Potter film. The film will be shown in the Grove.
Tuesday's highlights include a mechanical bull, Warhawk street-sign making event, a photo booth, and bingo.
Tuesday's main event will be the student-only Crawfish Boil, at the ULM Softball Complex. Students must bring a ULM ID.
Residential Life will sponsor Laser Tag on Wednesday in the Quad.
If you're hungry, Thursday's event might be right up your alley. The Spring Fever Food Olympics will include an Egg Toss, Melon Shotput, Coke Relay, Chocolate Milk Mile, Marshmallow Mouth, Pizza Eating Contest, Nasty Long Jump, and Tabasco Flip Cup.
Prizes will be awarded to each winner. Students are encouraged to come and cheer on the contestants. Refreshments will be provided.
On Friday, April 27, the always-popular Oozeball Tournament will take place at 11 a.m. behind Malone Stadium.
Friday will culminate with the Spring Fever concert, which will be performed by Grammy-nominated band, The Fray, at 7 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center.
