On April 10, the Office of Student Employment/Department of Financial Aid hosted the National Student Employment Week Reception, where student workers were honored.
Kimberly Griffin, ULM Student Employment Administrator, said, "National Student Employment is significant because it is a special time in which we can honor our student workers for their outstanding contributions to the University… The students who were awarded deserved their awards because of their diligence and their positive attitudes. They are a true reflection of the University. I firmly believe we have the best student workers nationwide."
The winner for Individual Student Worker of the Year is pre-nursing major Lynn Lacourse from West Monroe. She is a study hall monitor in the Clarke M. Williams Student Success Center, and her supervisor is Meghan Maza.
