Maroon Platoon Provides Spirited Student Support

Whenever supporters visit ULM again at the home football games, they should keep an eye out for the Maroon Platoon, though they'll likely be hard to miss.

Incoming freshmen began signing up during the summer PREP sessions to become a part of this lively and spirited student support group for athletic events. Currently, over 500 students are signed up, from the incoming freshman class alone. Continuing students will sign up throughout the Week of Welcome.

Maroon Platoon members get a signature T-shirt, special seating at events, conduct tailgates at all the home football games and receive special promotions at volleyball, soccer and basketball games as well as opportunities to win special prizes for their support of athletics and attendance at events.

Smile and join in the cheers and the war paint at the next ULM athletics event!
