The ULM Warhawk mascot will make its debut during a pep rally on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

The community is encouraged to attend the event, which will unveil a very appealing mascot, said Bobby Staub, ULM athletic director.

"Our new mascot is truly dynamic," he said. "I think it will really connect with our youth, alumni, students and community."

Prior to the pep rally, ULM students will vote for one name out of five finalists, selected by the Student Government Association. The online election will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29 and end at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30.

The finalists include Ace, Curtiss, Flash, General and Gunner.
